Many years ago around the late 70s and early 80s when I started to fool with heavy machines I was blessed with operating a Cat 933G. Holy smokes what a handful. You had to climb up then sit down inside the frame. It had levers to make slow turns and foot pedals for full release. You had to push the pedal and pull the lever for a sharp turn.
While doing all this you still had to operate the bucket with the hydraulic levers.
If you want to change gears you had to release the main clutch then shift and re-engage the clutch with another lever.
I still have the original parts manual
I got a 955L after that and I thought i thought I was in heaven. Until I operated a 963C hystat now that was the ****.
