Listen to this hellephant

Almost old school sound. I would love one, but don't see it happening. I have a few conversion cars, but see no way to put the power to the ground and not seriously alter handling. Even swapping into a 2008 up will require other upgrades. It doesn't stop with the engine and electronics. The most likely candidate I have is my PT Cruiser, already with a 426 cu. in. 6.1 based engine and an Art Morrison chassis. It's on the edge of being frightening as is.

IMHFO, it sounds downright docile for 1000Hp
even with open headers

an old-school probably dual carb-ed,
almost nothing short of nearly a pro-stock or Top-Sportsman combo
huge cam-med BB, alum. heads, huge cid, with a 1000hp,
would be 'really thumping' HARD
bucket T, bucket T, bucket T, bucket T, exhaust notes
or with a roots style blower, with series overdrive
it'd be a surging & thumping beast, nowhere near as docile sounding
or daily drivable as the new stuff
(well maybe a few of the "newer" hi-$$$, turbo combos, might)

it's pretty damn cool too
electronics, ignitions, computer controlled, direct injection & supercharged,
all cool

even if you're an old school type

IIRC it's like $28k also, it ain't cheap

performance has come a really long ways
since even the 90's
leaps & bounds since the 60's-70's
a std. Mom's grocery getter, today
would run away from most of the 60's era muscle cars now

Needs a better name. Not working for me. Even with Goldberg or Mark Knucklehead saying it.
