Local muffler shop or online kit for 67 Belvedere w/ 318 and factory exhaust manifolds?

The title basically says it all.
I am looking to change the exhaust to get a more muscle car sound for our 67 Belvedere. We have already added an Edelbrock performer manifold and 1406 carb along with Pertronix ignition system. I know I want duals from the manifolds back with either an x or h pipe. After that I still am very nostalgic for the sound of good old glass packs. Is there any reason I would want to go with a mail order exhaust system package over going to a good local ahop and having them do it all?

There exhaust systems have been "Spot On" for me. There formed to the car line. Put them on, Then take it to a muffler shop for welding if you can't do it your self.

If you want the good ol sounds, you don't want the x pipe.

I'm lucky in the fact that I have a local muffler shop that I can tell what I want, and come back in a few hours and have exactly what I was looking for.
