Hello!
I am a long time Mopar owner - 69' Charger, 70' Coronet R/T, 69 Dart GT, 69 Coronet - (currently owned for 31 years). When I bought my Coronet in 1986, it had a small block 318, 904, 8 1/4 rearend. Ive had 383's and 440's in it over the years. In 2003 I pulled the 440 and ordered a mopar megablock. Siamese block. 4.5" bore. 4.625 stroke - 588 ci. Indy legend heads. 2 Holley 1050's etc. Mopar super stock leaf springs. pinion snubber. 12.5" slicks. The suspension worked well with my 440 but the new motor overpowers the suspension. I'm going to install some cal trac's and see if I like them. May even try their single leaf spring setup. My car is all steel. Full interior. Heater core in place, blows nice and warm still ( I live in Alaska ). Fully street legal and street driven. My 4" exhaust system is a little rude, but I haven't gotten any tickets yet. Tons of fun! I''m in my early 50's now and look forward to driving the same, or faster setup into my twilight years...! Mopar or no car
