Looking for rocker molding for my 1965 Coronet 440. Need the kind that works with the wheel opening molding, which is ribbed I think. I’ll attach a pic of what I think it looks like. Thanks everyone!

I would keep it a 440 but that's up to you.

How much of the 440 trim is missing?

I’m not missing any of the 440 trim. I wanted to install wheel opening molding and found a nice set. I didn’t realize you needed a different rocker molding for them to work. Do you know if the 500 was the only trim level to have wheel opening molding? I’m still learning on these cars.

From my understanding the Coronet 500 was the only trim level to get the wheel lip molding.

Trim levels initially were base Coronet, Coronet 440, and Coronet 500. All 500 models where bucket seat / consoles . The base and 440 trim cars were bench seat cars.

That’s what I thought. I’m learning the hard way, but at least I’m learning. I’m also learning I can’t find any, even on eBay. Thank you sir!

Yep my 65 was a tuff one to restore compared to my 69 Road runner. But I went with the original interior seat fabric and original colors.

Keep an eye on the for sale board and post on WTB for parts. I have sold and bought with excellent success here.

I have a complete set of 65 Coronet 500 rocker moldings. Don't have the wheel well moldings.
Shipping would be pricey because of the length of those moldings.
