Who put the R/T emblem on the grille, Stevie Wonder?
Ray Charles..... but I tend to confuse the two

I agree it was sold as more upscale, especially C bodies. When you compare the GTX and R/T I think the R/t was meant more for the young bag them owners and the X was for the little older crowd. Back in the late 60’s, early 70’s you saw more R/T’s at the drag strip than X’s.Dodge was always the upscale brand.

Maybe raise your standards, and people might look more diligently!!!! Richard.

Looks like two gas tanks.
Granted that I didn't look at all the pix, or look too closely at them either, but you could use the faults you observered, in negotiation to get a better stepping stone to the vehicle that you're actually wanting. When I see stuff like this, I'd be lowering my standards.

Have you seen Mark‘s (@Richard Cranium) other cars?Granted that I didn't look at all the pix, or look too closely at them either, but you could use the faults you observered, in negotiation to get a better stepping stone to the vehicle that you're actually wanting.
Sometimes, you just have to bite the bullet, or just do without.
The only thing somewhat interesting in my neck of woods just popped up on Craigslist list. Asking $25k for a 4speed car is not unreasonable. In no particular order:
1969 Charger or Road Runner in Rally green
1968 Charger in GG1 green or white.
1968 GTX convertible
1968 Super Bee
1970 AAR Cuda, yellow with 4-speed.
Looking for all original car, not a major project.
Yes, I have. Therefore, I'm aware of his capabilities. However, the quality of his other cars doesn't coincide with deserving of someone else's car of similar quality. If that was true, then there would be people trying to bribe him to take their car. I have yet to see someone post, "Here's $50k and the pink slip to my car because your not interested in it. It's not to your satisfaction."Have you seen Mark‘s (@Richard Cranium) other cars?
Here’s my take on the last post he made, he doesn’t wanna buy a car that’s been jerry rigged. You never know what else has been done.Buy a lesser car, and bring it up to your standards, and enjoy it, or don't buy anything at all.
The beauty of the hobby is, nothing is permanent. Some are just more of a hassle than what they're worth. Here’s my take on the last post he made, he doesn’t wanna buy a car that’s been jerry rigged. You never know what else has been done.
