WTB Looking for another car that tickles my tastebuds

Thanks, I did talk with them about that car & a 68 Hemi Road Runner they also have. The GTX looks good, but it has the wrong radiator, battery cables, painted upper control arm eccentrics, no grille blackout, wrong thermostat bolts, etc. For the kind of money that they want, I shouldn't be able to pick out flaws, and I'm sure more could be picked out in person.

But, but, but it's "Certified and decoded by Galen Govier with original buildsheet"?! (lol).

ad claims survivor status with one repaint..... ok?

also claims it has never been apart...... nonsense

Well, I found something locally yesterday that's not quite what I was originally looking for, but it's a neat car just the same. This car does tickle my tastebuds and will give me something to work on over the winter. It's a very low mileage survivor that's in need of a good douching and some TLC. Being 58 years old (build date August 67) the exterior does have some flaws. I'd say that it's a 10 footer in looks and will make a good driver. The reality is that I'll probably drive this around more than a much higher value high performance car. Going to pick it up on Tuesday & I'll post more pictures & in a different thread when I get it home.

The original wheels and wheel covers come with it, which will replace the mags.

Congratulations on a nice score. A Sport Satellite in that condition has to be as rare as a Hemi car. Clark Motor had one exactly like it in 1970, priced at $1695. Bet you had to pay a bit more.

Sweet! My Sport Satellite was built 8/23/67 at Fenton plant...
You scored!

Congratulations on a fine looking ride!

Of course a really nice AAR is going to show up for sale that checks all the boxes for you!

Time for the wife to sew up the pocket your money just burnt a hole in. Speaking of your better half, I can't wait to see what she names this one.

Looking forward to a refresh thread.

Are those reproduction mags on the car now?

Really sharp looking car!

No, those are originals Chrysler mags, but they are not original to the car. Besides the never mounted spare, there is one other wheel in the trunk and I’m told that all 4 tires are original from new.

That's a fine looking car. Bet you'll clean it up and it will be going to Carlisle and the survivors tent.
