Hello All. I just joined today. I am hoping someone can help me locate my 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite Convertible. It has B7 paint, white top and seats, 4 barrel 383 c.I. motor, 4 speed trans. vin # RP27H9G238199. I made a big mistake selling this car and I want to buy it back. My father ordered this car brand new and left it to me when he passed. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks P.S. Last known location was Red Hills Rods & Choppers in St. George, UT in Dec. of 2012

hhhhhhhhh

Was the car sold locally? I see you're in Maryland. How long ago was the car sold? Can you give some more details? I recently seen either a 68 or 69 Satellite convertible listed in our local craigslist adds, but that was many months ago and I'm located in SC. Probable not the one you're searching for.

As suggested post some photos, that will help.

welcome to FBBO good luck with your search

Welcome to the site. Not to be a stick in the mud here why would you sell something your father left you anyway? If I were you I would start with who I sold it to in the first place and continue from there,do you have info on who you sold it to like an address or a phone number, name?Be prepared to pay a hefty some of money to get the car back if it's the one in the photo in the above link.Good luck with your hunt.

1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite

Yes, that is the car when it was listed for sale at Red Hills Rods & Choppers in Utah

If that's it, and it know I'm probably stating the obvious, but I would think red hills would have the info on the sale. Maybe they would give it to you. Should be easy to track if they would.

Unfortunately, he won't give me that info, which is why I joined and posted this.

I figured you had already looked into that but just had to check.. It's too bad they won't give it to you or give your info to the last buyer to contact you if they choose, but I get protecting the buyers info.. Good luck!

Offer to pay the guy (who has the current owners contact information) a fee to contact the person with the car on your behalf and find out if they would sell the car back to you. Make the "finder's fee" contingent upon the current car owner contacting you directly. This way you can negotiate with the current owner directly and leave out the middle man. Just an idea.
