Looking for the original engine for my Blue 1970 RoadRunner, if you have a 1970 440-6 RB engine block please check for VIN stamp 0G204078

Could be located in Texas or Wisconsin or anywhere else by now.

The car was a Texas car originally and ended up in Wisconsin.

Is there a registry where one can input the vins of motors that they have so people can try and find their original motor? I thought I was told of such a site once.

There was a site years back, never got much traction sadly and I think it's now defunct.

These cars were used and abused. Good luck with finding it in tact and still usable.
I know of rare occasions it has been done but the more people your RR has passed threw the more difficult it will be.
I would make sure all the paperwork for the car is legitimate before starting such a search.
