Met Dave at Carlisle last year. Great guy and a 25 year Coast Guard vet. Saw the car in passing that weekend but had to see it up close on the way out Sunday and realized he is an fbbo member. Exceptional attention to detail. At that time he had a more common replacement ps pressure hose and ended up selling him one of my nos replacement spares.

@dmoore , this 64' has the red, white and blue wheel covers that you where asking for pics on in another thread.

Poor guy is losing it today, confuses power steering pump with A/C compressor.

Lou is a nice guy, he just gets a lil confused filming and interviewing so many different cars. But to his credit the air coming through the cowl that day did in fact seem cool. It was hot out!

What a find it was! Can't thank you enough! Always a learning experience at Carlisle! To compliment that correct PS hose assembly I was informed of a power steering return hose heat shield this year by a

Thanks Dan, Through lots of research on this topic I found out the red/white/blue hubcap dome was prior to March 64. My car having an SPD of May 1rst 64 should have the white/light silver anodized dome as pictured. Red center remains correct.

I have no idea as to what is correct or incorrect on the 64's as it is not a build style that i do. I have seen pictures of your build and it looks amazing and can definitely appreciate all the work and research that it takes to correctly restore one of these early b bodies.

Thanks Dan, it is difficult no doubt.

Unless you want to give me a pristine original low mile Max Wedge car?
