Low deck TTI's on a 440?

Curious if anyone has tried running low deck TTI headers on a 440? I am guessing it would be a mess of clearance issues but would like to hear someone's experience.

Haven't tried it, but if TTI says they don't fit, they probably won't JMTC

Yah it would bring them too high. Might hit z bars, transmissions, who knows what else.

You never know though…. I’ve used my headers designed for low deck on both. Even the exhaust system with an H pipe fit both with no issues. My late friend said he had them custom made for his 71 383 RR. My only guess is that I had iron heads on the B, and Edelbrocks on the RB, so the iron head would be wider?

I have done the opposite. Used 440 headers on a 383. They do hang a little lower but all clearances were fine everywhere else.

A 1/2" spacer (extra heavy flange) should put them back in shape
