I just pulled this 2898041 radiator from my '68 Satellite. It's the original to the car, with driver's side feed, 26" core and 27-3/4" from mounting hole to mounting hole. Due to my Frankenmagnum conversion, I'm now working with a 1970+ style passenger inlet.
I'd like to install a stock-looking radiator in the car, and I don't mind if I have to use a later fan shroud. I was poking around looking at the 26" radiator options for mid-1980's M-bodies - which appear as if they'd fit - but without having one directly on hand, that's hard to say.
That said - has anyone tried this in the past? Any luck? Fits? Doesn't fit?
