Man Takes Uninvited Ride "ON 18 Wheeler"

I don't understand why the driver would have done that. Pull over and call the cops. If the guy on the hood fell off and was ran over, killed even, the driver probably would have been charged with murder. Nine miles?

I think it was because the man had a metal bar and was smashing the glass on the truck making the driver fear for his safety but yes I agree he should have stopped.

The guy smashed out the drivers window and tried smashing out the windshield with a metal bar. Driver feared for his life. Pull over and be at his mercy?

Stop real fast. If his grip is good maybe several brake checks would be needed. When he swings the bar he only has a grip with one hand.

Welcome to FL!
Now if it were me I would of just waited for cops as I have a gun dude would sit nicely at gun point I bet!
Now if driver had no gun witch he probably isn't aloud to have one I would of just kept driving till cops got there . Now I don't think I would swerve or brake check him just keep it fast enough he won't let go to hit truck but slow enough that if he falls he wouldn't get ran over !
What a freaking nut case ! !

His wife burned his eggs that morning so he was pissed

Years ago, ABF drivers used to be a standing joke, nowadays it seems to be Swift drivers.

I would have killed him if he smashed my truck up with a metal bar. Friggin wacko. Fortunately, I wouldn't have that problem because I'm not stopping to help anybody. Most true heroes are dead, I don't need to be a hero.

Don't leave out the Prime drivers, they're right there with Swift.
ABF is a union company now. Their drivers are all Teamster members, so I think that that weeds out the weak a little. You have to have 5 years minimum exp. to get hired there. If your driving record is still clean after 5 years, chances are that you're a decent driver.
