I'm doing a little photo documentation before I remove everything from the engine compartment of my '64 Polara. I have the engine out and I'm doing prep for paint.

Something about the master cylinder bracket doesn't look correct to me. Should there be spacers on the mounting studs? Does anyone have a photo to share so I can see how it should be?

Thank you!

The plate is mounted BACKWARDS. The "lip" on it should point forwards....not backwards (for obvious reasons)
