What are you using iron or plastic, and why?
Anyone having problems with one or the other.

Thanks

Iron bolts right up. Plastic/Aluminum is lighter but requires an adapter or fabrication to bolt up. Both function fine.

I'm using the MOPAR plastic unit in my '66 Plymouth Satellite. I purchased it from EBooger on his eBay site after reading his take on them back during the original MOPAR Action days. He has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to upgrading with new options especially brakes and steering. Anyway...I followed his suggestions on how to set it up for disc front/drum rear. The car originally was a manual brake drum set up so I am still in a manual braking mode. I did try and adapt it to powered disc/drum, but opted to say with manual. I have great stopping power and control. I also added a heat shield on the lower side of it because with these older rides, the heat build up can be a lot and with plastic it may tend to boil. Still working like a champ with no issues. Plus all the weight reduction I now have in my ride's engine bay, improves overall performance and reliability for me. Hope this helps and give a look/see to adapting it to your ride...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:
