Looking for some direction.

Ive read that you can mate a SB 727 to the new Hemi. Whcih converter? What do i do with the metal spacer thats attached to the hemi?

Speciial considerations?

Any directions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Richie

Call or go to hotrodlane.cc (street and performanc) ask to speak with Mark (owner) and he'll tell ya what you need, or just look at their catalog.

There is a kit available from XV motorsports. It includes the flexplate you need and the block spacer. The crank of the hemi sticks out further than a typical small block so the plate gets sandwiched between the engine and the trans to space it back a smidge.

Forgot about XV, good call rolling_Thunder!!

ah ok, I didn't think about the spacer, I have spent too much time reading about the manual trans stuff and how they have to cut off 3/4" of input shaft

I had heard there was a spacer. The factory Hemi had a small spacer with it so I wasnt sure if that was the same. I have the SP catalog on my desk. Ill check in with them.

Thanks

Richie
