What makes them Max Wedge valve covers.

They only have 4 bolt holes, to match the MW heads. Later B/RB heads have 6 bolts holes.

Most people associate 4 bolt heads with the Max Wedge. That's why. Those covers are hard to come by and that's a realistic price he has on them.

They're just early 64 and back wedge valve covers. Nothing to directly tie them to the max wedges. They'll fit ALL early B/B wedge heads. Saying 'max wedge' is getting like saying 'hemi' when you're trying to sell something.....lol
