[Foreword - Please excuse me Mr Moderator if this is seen as inappropriate or in the wrong place ; if so feel free to/kindly delete. I have no financial or any other connection to the film company and wish to provide this as information only to members here for their enjoyment and possible help in locating an old car that they loved and/or International Television Stardom. This internet and forum stuff is relatively new to me and I am sometimes slightly unsure as to etiquette on same.]
Ever wished you could have a particular car back? Wish you'd never sold that one special ride? All of us have. Sometimes we can track it down and get it back, but usually we lack the time and or resources to hunt it up. Well, Friday afternoon, an email arrived at the plush well lit offices of MyFirstCar from a gentleman named Jesse, who is a casting director for Firecracker Films . Apparently they are working an a series about reuniting cars with former owners and restoring them, and he is looking for good stories and leads. His email is as follows -
"Firecracker Films is currently developing a show called “Restoration Reunion,” a cool new program that reunites people with their long lost cars. You know the one you took to the drive-in filled with all your friends…or you paraded the love of your life in…or the one you religiously washed and waxed every weekend while the neighborhood kids watched. Are you looking for your old ride or do you have a friend, partner, or parent who you would like to surprise by locating their beloved car? Please send an email to [email protected]. We’d love to hear your story!"
Sooooo...if you have a good story of a good car that you would like to share, and maybe have help in finding, shoot him an email with the details. Tell him John at www.myfirstcar.me sent ya!
