Dug this radiator emblem today and realized I didn't know name. So a quick Google search turned up its history pretty quick. Seems I found a 20's era radiator emblem from a Graham Brothers truck! What's a Graham Brothers truck? Well seems these brothers noticed a need for trucks early in the century and started this company, building the truck bodies and using various other models drivelines. Cool right? Heck yeah, but gets better. Seems The Dodge Bros not having a truck line themselves wanted a line of trucks utilizing their engines and transmissions and seeing how well built these trucks were and how were selling well contacted the Graham Bros. So in 1921, Dodge Bros entered into a contract with these guys. From that point all Graham Brothers trucks would utilize Dodge drivelines and be sold exclusively at Dodge dealerships. This merger worked great, so great that in 1929, the Dodge Brothers bought out the Graham's shares amd changed the name to Dodge Brothers. The birth of today's Ram trucks. Now that's cool.

That is awesome . . . now all you have to do is find a truck to go with that cap!

A rare find indeed. Like the guy above said - you should've kept digging The truck might have been just beneath the radiator cap... Now that would've really been a find....

I've always kinda thought the 39-47 Dodge and Plymouth trucks (and some cars for that matter) kind of resemble the Graham "sharknose".

I know that's kind of late for that association, but maybe one or more of the Graham stylists was employed by Dodge at that time.
