Metco Driveshaft loop

I myself have a lakewood driveshaft loop, it's a 2 piece loop which allows you to take the bottom half off for easy removal of the driveshaft.

I use the cheap Summit one. Then weld instead of bolt together. Then they fit real nice. This part looks like they did similar research to make it fit nice. The bolt together works fine. Jut not as pretty.

I would think just bolting it through the floor pan it may just rip and pull itself through the floor pan under a u-joint explosion.

you are correct I had a friend with 2 3/8 bolts holding one to the floor pan. It ripped it out when the front yoke broke at the stripe. We reinforce the floor pan on top with bolts welded into the ears cut off from the 1/4" thick L shaped pieces in the kit.
