Hello from germany!!

I have got a problem with the inside of all my windows.

I clean it with window cleaner or active foam for windows. After one or two weeks there is the same white/milky coating on it.

I didnt smoke in the car,the car inside is absolutly dry,the heater core is ok.

Has someone an idea?

THANKS

RENE

Cows or goats? snow men from mars? heavy breathing insects? teenagers? lmao did the car ever have tinted windows? try wd-40 all over then de-greaser then window cleaner.

Not positive on the validity of it but have heard as the plastics in the interior age, they'll break down and can leave a residue. Anybody have anything to confirm or refute this?

i have the same thing happen on my windshield in my p/u.Was told as the windows age, air gets in between and cause the milky substance.

He says it's all of his windows and only the front windshield on American cars are laminated.....

Rene - it happens to my Road Runner all the time. But just the rear window.

I agree with the aging plastic (foam breakdown) concept. I just clean with rubbing alcohol every week or 2.

if you can clean it off and it comes back then it is more than likely protectant evaporating in the heat.happens a lot here in vegas(temp is 119 degrees in parking lot right now)armorall and others will do that just as bigal said.

Hello.
That was my first idea too.Armor all.
Since last year i didnt take it.
I have tested different interior cleaners but it is allways the same.
The only a little bit broken old thing is the dash pad.

If the outside temperature is high it will get faster.Thats right.

Yep, I would try the Armor all... I don't know why some do it and others don't but ive always used it, If you buy the kit, you'll get window wipes, tire foam, soap/wax, and of course the plain armor all interior spray for a shine.
