Molding/Trim Fasteners for what??

Anybody out there have a clue what these belong to? 1 3/4" LONG X 3/4" WIDE

Not sure of the application

Looks like hood insulation clips.

Look like original rocker molding clips. The ones they sell now are plastic. Look about the same size as the plastic ones on my 67 GTX.
