Mopar Challenge 2017 - Dust Caps!

I use this, it fits nice on the lip and is concave so it snugs up to the dust cap, then use rubber mallet to pound it in, so no risk of denting the cap and since it sits on the lip all the force goes to the edge instead of the center of the cap and makes it easy to get them in place.

I have something very similar, only with a wood block attached to the PVC

Yeah I have a old piece of exhaust pipe tubing {off who knows what 2" IIRC}
or just a large socket that fits over the perimeter
no damage no hassles,
I've never or remember really having any issues, with bearing dust-caps anyway
I don't remember ever buying/replacing any ever,
other than with an all new brakes system, chrome caps etc.

I did or have been known to, distort, spread/expand or even neural/etch a cap or 2 in my day
if I felt they went on, way to easy
an exhaust pipe expander works well to get them back in shape
just don't go crazy, but I haven't had to do that in decades thou
