Mopar key

This is a pic of the original key and keychain that came with my roadrunner new in 71. I know because my father bought new. Everywhere i look says thats a 50’s key. Is that correct?

I know based on originality...short answer is , No......

I cannot discount your story because of just the cool factor of that key......Maybe when the car got to the dealer they lost the original key and made one from an old key blank....Again, never say never when it comes to mopar dealers and factories.....

I wish my key was like that one.....

This site lists it as running from 1956-1985. Wish I had one.

With all the paint rubbed off, it looks like the modern Mopar M
