Just curious? Are there any special rules for driving a car with the steering wheel on the opposite side in New Zealand?

Certification is required for "safety and correctness of vehicle" - in other words, the powers that be don't want a rusty heap being driven on the roads....and stolen cars get found out pretty fast also.
