Mopar Performance valve cover question

All cast valve covers leak. When you use stainless Steel fitting they make it worse. You need a washer under the heads of allen Bolts. I would get a et of Cometic gaskets. Use their glue or install with 3M Yellow Adhesive. No matter what you do with Aluminum covers they will leak with headers so close. The heat draws the oil out.

Mine never did. Used aircraft gasket cement and stock gaskets.

Mine haven't leaked either, covers have been on since 1999 or 2000. I threw away the gaskets that came with the kit and got some Fel-Pros. Glues the gaskets to the cover and stuck them on. Used longer bolts too, bolts that came with the covers were too short.

I have the same valve covers/cork gaskets and no leaks....I use arp 12 pt bolts (I believe they have a 3/8 head) and no problems getting a socket on them.
