Hi all…

My 1968 Super Bee has MOPAR Performance valve covers. It came with tall “screw in” bolts but the covers are leaking.

i bought and installed valve cover studs and new gaskets. The issue is the two inside nuts don’t have enough room to get a wrench or socket on to tighten them. Any else have this issue? I can’t believe this is a design issue…

Thanks!
Bob

I run ARP studs with the small 12pt nuts they provide and have no issues. I also have 2" TTI headers. I can tighten them all no issues at all.

Thanks! Would you by chance have the ARP part number?

Just make sure you order the one I sent. It is longer studs for the thicker valve covers in cast aluminum that you have. The stamped steel version only has 1.125" studs and they will be short with the MP valve covers.
