I went to the mopar show today and finally got a chance to show my Belvedere since getting it back on the road. I have less than 50 miles since getting it together anyways, I am not satisfied with the judging at the show because the judge was showing HIS 66 charger red and placed it in the 62-67 b body modified class which there were only a few of us out of the 26 different classes. It just so happens that his car won best paint and the best b body modified class. I don't think judges should be allowed to have their cars in the contest. His paint was old and orange peeled in many places, modified? I guess I need a class on what is considered modified. The moral of the story is make sure the judges are not showing their own cars or you'll waste your money!

Thanks for letting me vent!

Sorry to hear that. I didn't see who all won the awards. I was over at the drag strip as they were handing them out. Wish my damn RR was done already, so I could have brought it down. I just posted some pics of the event I guess as you were posting this. haha.

Usually no more than 3 major changes are allowed to be made and remain stock! (excessive chrome, billet, chassis, and custom paint). Also judges or staff involved with the event shouldn't be in the judged classes! Not fair for the contestants who paid to enter the show!
