here's a couple in the garage, with some damn snow outside... so much you cant see any road, lanscape definition or topography outside, the plows haven't come by even yet, I'm sure they are swamped today... with 14"-16" of fresh snow in about the last 12 hrs...
my pampered B_I_T_C_H{as my girlfriend Honey calls her}, my 68 RR RM23 doesn't even see rain ever/rarely, let alone any snow... damn clock & date is wrong, I just took those a few minutes ago, I can't figure out how to change it...LOL... I'm no camera guy for sure
The first few I took after it snowed and I backed the car out of the garage.
The second set, I drove the car to work that day, and it snowed during the day. I looked at traffic cams during the day to plan my way home. I made it about half a mile from the house, and the snow plow truck had stopped treating the road, so the last half mile was scary. I lived off a main street, bit it was still icy and slick.
My driveway had a slight rise and then sloped down 100 feet or so. I put the car in neutral when I turned in, but then it wouldn't stop sliding, The only thing that stopped it was the little piles of snow that piled up in front of the front tires, scary
yeah we get eastern Sierra type exposure {Sierra Cement} here in the little valley I live in, we're only about 2500ft elev., we get more snow than the elevation here really dictates, seems like we live allot higher in elevation, it's really bad just a few miles up the road @ my Aunt & Uncles place above Twain Harte @ about 5000ft elev., they got what looks like 2ft, in about 16hrs, I went up & shoveled off the decks & a walk way for them, the snow will stay around allot longer up there... Yes we do get allot of snow here, when it does snow occasionally 20-30 times a season, 15 times a season is probably more like the average thou, winters have been getting much more snow & is much colder at lower elevations, so much for Global Warming...LOL... but it usually doesn't last or stay around too long, sun come back out & it goes away thank goodness... great skiing out here, because of it too
