motor swap

I'm switchin big 66 318 wedge motor for a 71 340 motor out of dodge demon in my 66 belvedere convertible. wondering if motor mounts will work also if it will bolt to my 3 speed trans any help. thanx

The 340 mount brackets are a bit different on the driver's side than the LA 318 engine but are the same on the passenger side. Small spacers or a few washers will make up the difference tho. Not sure if the brackets on the ploy teen are the same as the LA's are. Not sure about the transmission either. Automatic or stick? I know some things were being changed in about that year but both the poly teen and the LA small blocks share the same bolt pattern on the block. Maybe someone else will chime in about it pretty soon...
