Muffler swap

Replacing mufflers today. Bought a set of
Flow master 50 series mufflers . I'm replacing the 40's I have on it now, try to get rid of some of the cabin noise. Should be straight forward , don't need the extra loud I have electric dumps for that.

Good luck let us know how they work out. My experience has been, 50s aren't much quieter than 40s...but it does depend on the combo and conditions.

Your right. Their louder then I thought they would be but better then the 40's. A little deeper sound , their supposed to mellow out as you get up to cruise speed. It seems they pick up more of my can. Some people say you have to run them for a while. Time will tell.

Thanks for the follow up! Insulating the entire trunk floor helps too if you haven't done that(the factory mat doesn't do much with aftermarket exhaust).
