My 1973 RoadRunner

Hello everyone,

I have a 1973 Road runner. This car was bought brand new bymy father-in-law when he was 18. The car was ordered as a 318 4spd and in 1975he installed a 440 out of a 1969 superbee. with that he also installed a 4spd and 8 ¾ rear end with 4.11 out of aHEMI Cuda. The car has been sitting since 1980 and only has 72K on the body. Iplan on getting it running over the winter and turn it into a drivingrestoration. My father-in-law said the car was running 12.40 in the ¼ mile backin the day. I was given this car for Christmas and looking forward to start onit.

Plan first are to;
Install a new gas tank and new lines
Convert over to a MSD system
Flush and check the cooling system and test it for leaks.
Rebuild the carb on the car (or bye new one)
I will be re-wiring the whole car (damn Mice)
Install all new breaks and flush out entire system.
I hope the clutch is good but we will see.
Change oil and all fluids
Change spark plugs

welcome to FBBO, oh yeah by the way, not to be an a--hole know it all, but anything with a Hemi & a 4 speed, would have had a Dana 60 "not an 8-3/4" rear, even aHEMI Cuda, have fun here & post some photos when you can...
