Bought my car last July for my birthday from Arizona I’ve been wanting to build a mopar for the last 40 years life just didn’t let it happen my car was setup to be drag race only and I wanted best of both worlds so I’m going prostreet with the old girl the car has already been backhalfed and had a cage and full aluminum floors from front to back I started by taking all of that out about a million rivets by the way rivet is her name lol I’ll start by showing some of the journey

Started by getting all the aluminum out and trim and started stripping the paint to find the rust demons were hiding under bondo

I have a 66 that's just now ready to ride. In my journey to do this car justice, I've had three Coronets for parts and direction...I have one left that I just couldn't rape.... it's a "Odd Duck" you might say:
66 Coronet 500
8 cly ( 318)
bucket seats
console
standard trans
But get this...a 3 on the tree.
One of only 201 like cars produced, I can't believe that there was that many! I can't believe that there are more than a couple that still exist todat, if any. The console is an "automatic" , as the shifter is on the column, with 4 speed plates. Where the shifter would would come through, there is a "shifter delete" plate, and yes I have that too. The shifter delete plate is a beautiful "die cast" and chromed plate, matches the ribs of the rest of the console ( with the Chrysler number on it). I have 90% plus of everything needed the get it restored, but the ambition to do it. It came from Texas.

PM me if you have any interest, but you will have to tell me that you want to keep it a 3 on the tree.

Looking good, You have a long road ahead, Good luck with her!
