on november 19th 2015 a jeep liberty crossed the double yellow line on avery rd rockville md hitting me in my drivers door/ quarter panel pushed me out of my lane and up an embankment on the side of the road the only reason i did not leave the accident in a ambulance is beacause of the 10 point roll cage and subframe connectors i welded in december of 2014, the jeep has been found at fault but is insured by geico they have done next to nothing to settle my claim in a timely manner along with not responding or humoring my requests for face to face meetings to settle on a value for my car and come to a fair settlement, really im just wondering if anyone knows a good classic car appraiser in or around rockville md area or if anyone have any helpfull tips on how i can get some results or if i would be better off getting a lawyer to help me handle this

Thank you
Travis

Lawyer up now. They already seem to think they can push you around.

Sorry to hear that, it sucks I'm sure...
Welcome to FBBO

maybe try & post the questions in the general discussion section,
this is the welcome wagon not real a Q & A or tech section,
more for intros & getting to know each other, sharing a photo etc.
far more viewers in the other sections too, that may be able to help &
answer your questions...

good luck & Happy Moparing

There is alot to consider since 69 Satellite parts are rare to a certain degree. When it comes to cost of repairing the damage done to the rare car, you should come up with your numbers according to the current value of the car in it's pre wreck condition. Then submit those numbers to the insurance company. If they try to lowball you, get an attorney immediately!

Moved the thread from the Welcome Wagon.....should get more attention here too.

Very sorry to hear that and glad you were not injured! Very lucky!

As other stated: Time for a Lawyer

well b-4 you go pay a lawyer maybe check with your insurance company. they often will handle the claim for you and then go back and collect from the other persons insurance co. thats what i would do if were me in your situation... if you don't have classic insurance it may well be a problem collecting what the car value truly is.
