She's been watching too many "entertainers" who think singing the National Anthem is for making it all about themselves. She could learn a thing or two watching these guys.

It’s a great song when sung right …… which is the only way it should be sung.

She was 11, in front of how many people? I would imagine most here (including myself) couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket! I’m sure nerves, age, and the fact she had never been in a production such as that caused the issue. I’m pretty sure they didn’t just pull her off the street and say sing. She obviously had been chosen because she had been heard by someone who knew she could sing. Give that young lady a break, does everything have to be a cut, if it doesn’t fit what you think it should be! Grow up!

I'm not knocking her being nervous and 11. I give her a lot of credit for getting up and doing it. It's the butchered style she's trying to emulate that I don't care for.
