I always wanted a 70 GTX and now I have a GTX clone. I went with a clone so I would not have any reservations making mods. Great to be back in a Mopar.

Congrats and welcome! My first car in HS was a '70 GTX - still love 'em.

OK we need pics. I dont do "clones" i just build what i want. My 70 has a RR hood with gtx tailights but i plan to leave the satellite badging.

Gator70GTX welcome to FBBO forum. 70 clone sounds like a fine project what mods are you planning?

Welcome, love to see another modified B, nice choice ....pics please

Nice plymouth- but im not a fan of clones- absolutly nothing wrong with satellites or RR

You own it - you clone it. Who gives a flying flip what you or I do with our own cars :bootyshake:. If it's original, different story, the car deserves a nice restoration. Leave it a Satellite, still a nice car ..... clone it and have the GTX you always wanted for 1/4 the cost or less , still a nice car. Bag it and slam it on 22's, different story, then you have real issues that need to be addressed ! I have no problem with "tribute" cars done right (neither do bidders at BJ) I like the guy that says "is that a real Yenko ?" to my buddy at the cruise ins, then walk away like a snob as my buddy asks "no, what are you driving ?" . Usually it's some fiberglass roadster (like that's original, right ?). And Foose's stuff is crap because he modifies every car (but never originals ...... yet) I don't think so. Make it a GTX - the next guy could always take it back to "original" Satellite (keep those valuable original pieces) :rolling::rolling: Have fun and post the dern pictures, will ya !
