My least favorite thing about classic cars is...

After 50+years of RWL I may have solved the problem: Redlines.

Same :)

Don't know if I've responded to this thread but I use powdered cleanser and a scrub brush.....works well for me. But these days, I don't care about bright white lettered tires. I turn them inside.

Pressure washer takes like 5 minutes for all four tires.

Only being able to drive them 6 months out of the year...
That is unfortunate but if you choose to stay where you are, it will not change.
I can drive mine nearly every day of the year but there are many negatives to this state that keep many from moving here while chasing many current residents out.

This is home, all of my kids, grandkids and lifelong friends are here so I'm not going anywhere. On the plus side of things, it allows plenty of time to work on my toys.

We've been wanting to move for many years now, and perhaps the time is nearing. Our family is down to a handful, and NY will either "Phoenix", or Burn in Hell. With looking around the Nation, the question is " Move to Where ?"
We were considering TN, NC, and have a Liking to AZ ? The move would be a Major endeavor, as I have 6 vehicles, 5 2-wheelers, and All the equipment that goes with them. An "A to B" move would be a Miracle, especially hitting the 70 mark. Praying the Nation Wakes UP, and Fast !!!

The wife and I almost moved to Arizona 2 years ago. I'm in the same boat as you in terms of the huge burden of things to move. 12 vehicles, truckloads of car parts, tools, etc....

You can always move to Hawaii. We drive our cars all year round. Unfortunately if you drive about 150 miles in one one direction, you end up right where you started.
