Well, I just love my friends who love racing. Not only are we trying to get my buddies 68 down the track, 2 of my neighbors just bought a top alcohol funny car, they are working on getting their license now,5000hp,Monte Carlo,Brad Anderson Engineering 528ci all aluminum hemi. They are sponsoring themselves, my jaw dropped when they told me this today. They plan on doing 7 or 8 races this year, for sure Houston and Ennis. I already have a starting line pass, should I go???????????? Bought the car out of New York, everything the guy had, trailer and all. They built a alcohol 16ft boat last year and ran up and down the river here (my back yard,we all live on the river). Around 140-160 is what it would go,to hell with that, thats unsafe!!!! I love my friends:headbang:

Heck yeah, you should go! What river are you talking about? I used to play in Lake Houston and in the San Jacinto river along with Clear Lake and Taylor Lake just off Galveston Bay but it's been 20+ years since I've had a boat.....

Always wanted to go to the Ennis track but its always the same weekend as the Pate swap meet....

Cool stuff, I wonder who's F/C it was, sounds like some typical alcohol parts...

Is Brad Anderson stuff still in favor ?
I had some BAE stuff in my altered & TS cars over 10 years ago,
but I had Milodon Mastodon & JP1's too shows how old my stuff was...
Raymond Beatle & Ken Vinney parts too
It was great stuff back then, IIRC Brad was still racing some too...
His daughter Shelly {Jay Payne's wife is still in the sport} she should still be up on what everyone runs too...

I know allot of people that use to run it, but most run Allen Johnson stuff now...

Great to know racers, I love when another car guy/gearhead lives close...

Go with him ever chance you get, it'd be fun either way...
