I bought this 1970 Roadrunner a few days ago. It's a 383 v8 4bl 727 trans. The seller claims its matching numbers, I dont know if thats true. I also have a 1973 satellite thats non op.

Welcome aboard, let's get some more pics.

To see if it's numbers matching look for the numbers to match the vin on the radiator support core, engine, transmission and under the trunk lip.

Neat car and neat color! Is it a B3 blue? Does it have a fender tag (on driver side inner fender)?

Nice looking car, thanks for the picture! Welcome back, did you ever get your '73 to go any faster? You talked about it nine years ago.

Love it - uncommon color, basic spec, pretty much how they were intended to be.
Check rt side of engine about mid-point just above the oil pan rail for partial or full VIN, likewise one side of the trans above its pan (don't recall which side, long time since I've had an AT). Fender tag will tell a lot, #s on rad support upper tie bar and left trunk weatherstrip rail already mentioned. Broadcast sheet usually on (backside of rear seat) would be nice.

Congratulations. Looks like a nice car. If you paid all numbers matching money, you certainly should have confirmed all the numbers before purchasing. If something wasn't matching it would have been adjusted on the purchase price.
However, I have never been nor do I care about numbers matching. So much of it is faked or forged anyway. If it looks good, runs good and sounds good, it makes it a cool car to me.
