That's pretty cool looking lower . Any pictures of a gun that's together I'd be interested in seeing a completed one. How much was this lower? I may buy one. Too

Some folk just like to keep to themselves and not advertise. I would, but I lost all my cool guns in a boating accident, really pissed me off too.

I don't get it. The fact that you're on the internet makes everything about you, public knowledge. OP....here's my last build. Registered SBR HK33-K clone with registered sear.

Join date is 2011....am I missing sumtin??

At first I thought he was saying "7 years" to be facetious. but then I noticed he was quoting a member who joined in 08 with 1 post, lol..

Welcome 318Bruiser, that is an odd situation, you joined a mopar forum almost a decade ago with out 1 post and then comment on an unrelated to forum title topic post. Pretty gangsta...

Here is what I don't get SBR= barrel less than 16in and people that insist on putting scopes and bipods and a mile long magazine on there pee shooters like its some kind of precision long range rig? Oh it must be a QCB rig, well then why the bipod and scope? wouldn't a big screen T.V. without the bipod work better? That whole set up is a contradiction and lacks direction. If your going too be tactical be tact-I-cool, but don't be a tact-I-fool or tact-I-tool....

This was 325.00. It is a bit pricey but I am going to have fun with this one!! Thinking about getting it painted or powder coated to bring out the skull even more but not sure yet.

It's also an obsolete platform......You seem to have missed that. Post some pics of your NFA stuff. That rifle shoots out to 200-300 meters VERY accurately.....but having all your obvious experience......you already know that. Jeez....all the experts about others stuff. LOL, the internet.

Oh I'm all about obsolete, as soon as I can get my smart phone too talk too my computer I will post up some pic's of my shooting junk, I still fire a 7.62mm M1 or a M1a in Service Rifle and Long Range Service Rifle. I could never and still can't justify a tax stamp for something too short or get into feeding anything select fire.

He does have a point with the bipod. :) It adds a lot of weight without much benefit on a carbine. As for being "obsolete", nothing wrong with that. When you consider the Winchester Model 94 is still the most widely used deer rifle in a lot of places, a 50's design isn't that old.

I bought six AR-15 lowers at a gun show back in 2004. I got a deal on them, like $60 a piece, and figured I would build up a whole series of rifles on them. I built an AR-15 and an AR-15A2 on them and that's been it. I was going to do an M-4 and an AR-15A3, but neither of those offer any emotional plus for me. Hopefully FOPA will get nixed some day and I'll be able to drag out my old auto-sear pin jig and start making M-16s again. :)

Sonny uses a winchester model 70 / 30-06....sure the Winchester Model 94 is used more?:thinker:

just ask'in

That 5.56 carbine works well for multi roles. Fire select fire, prone....and you'll love the bipod. I have a 100 round drums for my 7.62 and 5.56 HK's.

The 9mm stuff is a hoot, also. Since Michigan has allowed the NFA stuff....I've bought a bunch, while I still can. Oh yeah....bought 4 AAC cans, as well

I've built a bunch of AR's over the years. Great rifles that are like Barbies for men, and there's no end to what you can or can't build with that platform.
