not really my cup of tea,
but nice find none the less,
Congrats, have fun with it

4 speed, a/c, vert has to be rare.

Storage units are now considered barns?....Cool!

Not a big Mustang guy either, but that looks like a decent project. Hopefully it doesn't have the serious rust issues I see on so many of the Mustangs up in this area. The nice thing is that there is a huge parts aftermarket for Mustang restorations, so damn near everything can be had for a decent price.

drop top and a few nice options...I would say it's a sweet-*** score Ski!! bravo!:hello2:

NOW the question is...where you guna put it?? lol

Just get a cheap newer Mustang 5.0 engine and put a 4bbl on it. Nice score! I like the pony interior and dual saddle gauges.

Yup...
I was looking for a older Lincoln Ranger welder and I saw this car.
No rust. Been in the Mojave desert since 1967.

The original owner bought it in North Carolina, a Air Force pilot.
Got sent out here to Edwards AFB and the car has remained here ever since.

I picked it up for "peanuts"...
The second owner's son, about 40 yrs old got into trouble and his Mom sold it to me for his "BAIL" money...

I dont know what to do with it.
So many projects and all....

I'll probably strip the paint, get it painted, new interior and as Photon440 stated, slap a new FORD 302 "Cobra-style" retro engine in it and sell it for my down payment on my dream car...
A Superbird...

(I'm DREAMING...L.O.L)

PS: Why couldnt it have been a Superbird or a HEMI GTX...or a 70 SE/RT 6-pack Challender or a.........

Are those gauges on the column from the factory? If so that's just cool.

Yes, "Factory" Saddle-gage set-up from Ford.

I think the Electric "Power-top" convertible and AC is neat on a 4-speed car.
I may upgrade to a 5-speed TREMEC.

Original color: a Pale yellow.

Should I go RED or original "Spring Time Yellow"

I thought maybe it was "poppy red"

Which is actually a little bit orange IMO.

A code, 4 spd, AC, power top..

Nice!
