I posted a couple days ago about having no oil pressure. Had the car out and everything was fine. A couple days later I started the car and zero oil pressure. Was suggested that I check the shaft that turns the oil pump. Pulled that apart and it looked good to me.(see pics) Got a priming tool and hooked it up to the cordless drill and had my wife video the gauge. It when up to 20 and drill needed to be put on higher setting. It went up to 40 psi which it normally runs at. Put everything back together and it ran fine, 40 psi, took it down the street and it was fine. Two days later I got my classic motor oil delivered and changed oil and filter. Started it up and zero pressure. Pulled distributor and gear out. Tried to prime it (counterclockwise) and it would not prime. Dipstick showed full. Also put oil in new filter before installing. I guess my next thing to do is drop the pan and check pickup and maybe replace the oil pump. I am not a mechanic and can use any suggestions anyone has. If anyone is in the Baton Rouge area I can use a good mechanic. I will attach some pictures to see if anyone sees anything. I also pulled the valve covers and everything seems ok in there Thanks Jim
