Need help with BB 727 pushbutton ??

Can someone help with this 727?

I have a 62 dart with a 318 push button and would like to put a bigblock in the car so would this transmission fit my 62?
Says its out of a 65.

It's over here in oz so would save on shipping

I don't think that's a 65 transmission. I could be wrong about this, but my understanding has always been that 65 was a kinda transition year. The 65 trans was still cable shifted, but was changed to a slip yoke drive shaft. That transmission is clearly a ball trunion......which WILL bolt right into your 62 if it still has a ball and trunion flange.

That is a 62-64 trans. It might be an early 65 sb! The big blocks were all slip yoke style. The 4spd cars still had the flange style drive line until late 65!

Hey thanks for the replies ....rusty the ball trunion threw me as I thought 62-64 where the only years for this.
So it will fit ...B-E-A.. UTIFUL. :headbang:

I see the part # but it doesn't appear in my casting no.s book.i think I'll make him an offer.

65 is the only year slip yoke push button trans. You can swap the input and pump for 67 and up stuff so you can run modern converters. The shifter will work.
