need help with hood strip decision on my 68 gtx

hey everyone,
my 68 gtx as in the picture has the i believe to be roadrunner stripe on the hood, did gtx's have these stripes? i am in the process of addding a 69 air grabber hood to it , and cant decide to go straight red or paint it like the one i have now.. if they never came with them that may help me swade my decision,, also im not sure if mine was positioned properly on the hood, does anyone have pictures of there 68 hood stripe that i can use as a reference? or even measurements??

Pretty sure that blackout was available for the 68 GTX.Personally i dont like it so i left it off my 68 GTX.

If you have a code 508 on Buildsheet it was ordered that way,was a $17.55 option on both GTX and Road Runner and don`t know if would be on the Data(Fender tag) or not as my 68 RR does not show it!
Or you can try and decode your data tag it here....
