Can anyone give me some ideas on what two HP2 440 six pack motors are worth. I believe they are from 70. One has already been bored out .35 and I'm not sure about the other one.

Both engines are missing the intake manifold.
One has everything except the intake and exhaust manifolds
The other is just the short block.

I'm just looking for their worth, not including what it takes to ship them.

Thank you in advance

They aren't worth anything more than a 440 from a motor home or a Chrysler New Yorker............except to maybe the person who owns them now.

How much would you say those are worth?

200-400$

unless you can find the cars they originally belonged with, then the sky is the limit.

if i could have found the original engine to my 70 U code Cuda, i would have paid up to 2k for it.

I cannot tell you what they are worth in New York, being as I am in Idaho, but as mentor70 (from California) says, $200-$400 here in Idaho. And.......how do you really know they are originally 6-bbl engines?

You may want to post the engine ID numbers here, then someone looking for a six pack block may be interested in it. I guess the block, rods and harmonic balancer are the parts that could be identified as six pack parts. And the (missing) intake of course. All the other parts are standard 440 parts. The original cam and valve springs on a six pack were slightly different too. In Colorado I have paid from $75 to $200 for a 440.

There was a guy in Australia trying to sell a set of 440 6-Pack rods for $3000 on ebay. I contacted him (nicely) to say I think he had a typo and meant $300, he replied with; no that's the price....

Stupid prices for stupid people.

The "HP2" stamp only means he's got are two 440 performance engine assemblies put together on second shift. Same stamping as a 375hp Magnum 4bbl from any model car.

Does a six pack have a different harmonic balancer to deal with the heavier rods?

here you go, 6 pack one is on the left.

Only engines that came with the heavier rods... I think that was some '70 and all '71 that were supposed to have them. Plus some 71-78 440-4bbls with forged cranks.

Does anyone know of places that sell the original bolts for the motors? Such as the oil pan and head bolts?
