Just about finished everything already, just putting the final two things I need to make it road legal again which would be my reverse lights (which i don't have an issue with just yet, haven't gotten to it) rather I've been dealing with an issue in regards to my wiper switch, its a brand new/refurbished 3 speed switch with a brand new refurbished 3 speed motor. It has the park/stop mode and everything etc etc. However when you place it in park (stop) the prong that's sending in power builds up heat really quickly, like hot hot. I HAVE to turn it off. The wires a hot pink larger gauge, its bigger then the rest of the wires that are connected on the switch. I'm kind of in a rut now since its stopping me from doing anything else.
To add more detail even holding the switch's body will set your nerves off as it has electricity running thru it as well. Yes a voltmeter was put to it as well, it read 12V's or whatever the battery was putting out. Yes the wires are not in contact with one another, in fact I took them out of the housing thinking it was the issue, they've all been crimped separately and between them are a gap.
Automatic signs of a bad ground but if anyone can give me more of a lead then just that it'd be really appreciated.
