Pretty interesting , The title caught me because Fansler is were my family is from. But its Fansler Iowa , The tornado thats mentioned i was 2 yrs old and rode it out in root cellar with my folks and grandparents. Of course I don't recall it but have seen pictures of the after mess.

Fansler, Iowa, was a lively coal mining town in Guthrie County, founded as a stagecoach stop in 1871, booming with 10 mines by the 1910s, but declined due to regulations and was largely wiped out by the 1959 Mother's Day Tornado, leaving behind ghost town remnants like a cemetery and historical markers. It's a classic example of an Iowa mining ghost town, alongside others like Buckhorn (creamery town) and Black Hawk City (early mill town), showcasing how resource depletion or disaster ended once thriving communities.

Last request. Flasher not found. Anyone have problems with the switch not related to flasher? Turn signal bulbs all four corners light and stay lit solid. Will not flash. Putting it together without repair to get it out of the shop. Thanks all for looking.
