Never owned a B-Body

Well, I've never personally owned a B body Mopar either. My dad bought a 65 Coronet 500 as his first new car when I was 12. That really started me on the Mopar bug and my family really loved that car. It was the best car my dad ever owned! Lasted a LONG time and always gave reliable service even though it was never treated very well. It outlasted I can't remember how many other cars he had!

So, I always wanted a B body Mopar of my own. Back in the 70's and 80's I could never find one for sale that was in decent shape. They were either rusted out basket cases or had been turned into race cars. So, I always ended up with C bodies instead. I've owned three C bodies over the years; a 65 Fury III when I was in college in the early 70's, a 68 Fury III in the 80's when I was trying to find another Mopar and then the 67 Chrysler 300 vert I have now.

I do love the C bodies but I've always gotten them as kind of a consolation prize!
