Hello, all. New member here. Bought a ‘69 Road Runner! I had a ‘70 Charger as a kid, forty-some years ago. Finally got the RR I always wanted. It’s been sooo long since I’ve had an old-school car like this, I’m going to be on a steep “re-learning” curve (how do I do a “tune-up” again? Lol). Here’s a pic of the car loaded & on its way to me. I’d post more pics, but it wouldn’t seem fair if everyone got to see the car before I did (anxiously waiting here, & I’ll see what I bought in about a week).
:praying:

Looks like this forum will be a good resource for my simplistic questions & then, hopefully, also my helpful posts as I get into full MOPAR ownership again.

welcome to the site and I hope it gos well. So you bought it without looking at it in person?

Yep. Only saw a bunch of pics sent to me. Yikes!
Rolling the dice here.

First off, congratulations. But you certainly have rolled the dice by buying sight unseen. There are a few horror stories on here of guys doing this. Hopefully yours will not be one of them.

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal. Nice looking *** end anyway. I'm sure you'll be fine. No sense worrying about something that hasn't occurred yet. post some more pics when you get her.

Yup, looks nice from that angle....and how near Houston are you? Anything closer than 75 miles is too close! lol. Sadly, I'm in Stinkerderner......way too close :D Welcome to the site!

Welcome from NW CT. Definitely need to show us more when you get it...

Welcome from NJ (one time long ago also in Wichita Falls TX)! Sweet RR for sure! I’ll bet that you are super anxious to get it delivered!!!

welcome to FBBO looks good so far post more pics when you get it

Welcome from Alabama. Hope it meets your expectations, I know you are super excited. Keep us posted.

Welcome from Indiana. Looks great from the rear, but no car’s perfect, they all need some work done, some more than others. Good luck on your purchase.

Welcome from Iowa! As far as tune up goes. I'd recommend plugs & points if it hasn't been converted to electronic ignition. Also do a check on the timing to see where it's set and make sure the advance in the distributor is working. Then tune the carb. That should get you going.

Welcome from the show me state!! Sweet color!!

Thanks all, for the warm welcome.
Will post pics when it arrives!
Not sure what I’ve gotten myself into, but super excited right now.
Rick
