Here are a couple pictures of my early 40th birthday present from my wife, it was her idea. I picked the car and she gave me the green light. Just got it in November so only 1 day of cruising. She is my first old car, and would only be a mopar as I grew up around my dad's old mopars. '66 Belvedere, 440 (purple shaft cam, cast iron exhaust manifolds, stock intake, 600 cfm Edelbrock) 727 (shift kit), 3.91 Suregrip, radio delete, four wheel manual drum brakes. It started out life as a 6 cyl 3 spd. The guy I bought it from did the hard work of the heart transplant. Now I get to enjoy it for a while until I start to put my mark on it. First order of business is shoulder belts for the back to strap in my little kids, any ideas? I was thinking 4 point harnesses? Enjoy the pictures. Still can't believe its in my garage and my wife told me to buy it!

Welcome, nice car and sounds like even nicer wife.

Welcome aboard!
Thanks for joining the forum.
Very nice car.
I'd keep it "just as it is"

PS: Happy Birthday!

welcome to FBBO my northern neighbor

I am in Langley. The centre of the lower mainland hot rod universe. Should be out cruising around this spring. Can't wait for warmer weather and no sideways rain.

The idea is to keep it sleeper looking. I love the dog dishes, factory radio delete, bench seat, even the beige paint. My wonderful wife reminded me to mention that it was a bit of an early 40 th birthday present, like 3 years early. Did I mention the best wife ever. I do need to come up with Some pretty stout birthday and christmas presents for the next few years.

Photon440, you are right over the hill from me. I am in Cloverdale once a week at my rugby clubhouse. What is your B Body of choice?
